Sapiens Hospital Partners with Rugby Football Union of Thailand, Signing MOU to Support First Aid Care and Medical Services
July 16, 2026 – Sapiens Hospital has taken a major step forward in expanding its business and medical alliances by announcing the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Rugby Football Union of Thailand under the Royal Patronage. The signing ceremony took place at the new headquarters of the Rugby Football Union of Thailand, established for Sapiens Hospital to provide medical and First Aid support.
The MOU was officially signed by Dr. Arnat Udomsakdi, CEO of Sapiens Hospital, and Pol. Lt. Col. Kunthon Prachuabmoh, President of the Rugby Football Union of Thailand under the Royal Patronage. The ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Sara Lamsam, Vice President of the Union, and Mr. Panasavorn Pitarangsi, Representative from Asgard Infinite Co., Ltd.
The event was highly honored by Privy Councillor Palakorn Suwannarat and Privy Councillor Admiral Pongthep Nuthep, who attended to celebrate both the opening of the Union's new headquarters and this collaborative milestone. They were joined by executives from partner organizations, including Mr. Preecha Lalun, Deputy Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand, as well as representatives from Chang International Co., Ltd., Wycombe Abbey International School, and Chularat Hospital.
Dr. Arnat Udomsakdi, CEO of Sapiens Hospital, stated, “Partnering with the Rugby Football Union of Thailand marks a significant milestone for Sapiens Hospital. We are bringing our medical expertise and mobile first-aid readiness to support the rugby community—a sport that demands immense physical strength and involves high-impact contact. We are fully prepared to take care of the athletes, focusing on field-side First Aid, efficient medical treatment, and timely emergency response, ensuring that players can showcase their full potential on the field with the highest level of safety.”
The primary objective of this MOU is to forge a strong collaboration between the medical institution and the sports organization. It focuses on providing First Aid medical support, initial physical check-ups, and ensuring the readiness of medical personnel and lifesaving equipment during competitions. This initiative aims to enhance safety standards and elevate the quality of care for rugby athletes across Thailand.
